Dear Supporter, Today marks the 25th anniversary of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). Since VAWA’s inception in 1994, it has served as the cornerstone of our nation’s response to domestic and sexual violence.

Over the past 25 years, VAWA has been reauthorized three times, and each reauthorization has expanded life-saving programs and protections for survivors. H.R. 1585 includes crucial improvements that need to be enacted now to increase access to safety and justice for all survivors.
