Dear Supporter,

This Mother’s Day, the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) is celebrating all of the parents, guardians, teachers, neighbors, and friends that make a family – by birth or by choice. Today is a time to celebrate and share gratitude with those who have supported and cared for us throughout our lives while also acknowledging that it can be a difficult day for many.

We are navigating a new daily life due to COVID-19, and there are many people who are dealing with loss, grief, or struggle. Take time today to honor the resilience, to celebrate the successes, and to offer support to someone special in your life –  even though you may not be able to be together in person this year.

No matter how you choose to celebrate (or not) this Mother’s Day, NNEDV wants you to know that your story matters and you are not alone.

Thank you for all that you do to support survivors.

For Peace and Safety,

Deborah J. Vagins
NNEDV President and CEO
